In a recent interview with Dr. Voigts, I mentioned that I thought it would be a good idea to promote a new tourism paradigm, which I call "participatory tourism" (or partourism, if the world can stomach another pompous portmanteau). I don't mean that we need to invent a new way of traveling, or impose new guidelines, or anything like that.
This is the third and final installment of my "rooms with a view" series. The idea has been to show snapshots from various places (all taken from a window or balcony) that give tiny glimpses into the world's diversity and complexity. Following are ten more photographs:
