Global Cuisine and Music: Wine On Harvest Moon at Deering Estate
Taste, Tango & Toast to the Andes celebrates the fine wines, fine food and fine art of Chile and Argentina
at the 10th annual Wine On Harvest Moon, presented by South BMW.
Outdoors on the rolling lawn under the glow of the harvest moon, and
indoors throughout the historic Stone House and Richmond Cottage, food
and wine tasting stations highlight the region’s cuisine and renowned
vineyards. Sugarcane’s Chef Timon Balloo holds a cooking demo on the
courtyard, while food journalist Riki Atlman describes his creative use
of Chilean flavors. Oscar Caballero and Roxana Garber creators of the
legendary show "The Streets of Buenos Aires,” perform Argentina’s
sensual tango and two outstanding Chilean troupes, Conjunto Alturas and
Club De Huasos De Chile, present their country’s rhythmic folk dances.

The evening marks the Preview Opening of the Deering Estate’s fall
invitational art exhibit, “Just North of the South Pole,” featuring
emerging and established Andean painters and sculptors, all of whom now
reside in south Florida.
For a more authentic Andean experience guests
can bid on the high-end live auction, Treasures, Pleasures and
Adventures, that includes enticing international travel to Chile and
Argentina.
