THIRD Thursday!
Traveling with disabilities can be difficult, to say the least. I have a mobility disability and am always aware of barriers (and how to work around them!). And as you know, there are a plethora of disabilities out there - all with unique barriers to overcome. I've got a fantastic resource today to share with you - a travel site that helps Deaf travelers.
South Florida is a great place to live for many reasons, but it isn’t easy to feel like you’re anywhere else but in the tropics when you’re here. And that can get old after a while. This week I discovered for the first time that there is indeed one place to get away from that Florida feeling - Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach.

Anna Myers returned to the village Los Angeles de Nandayure, Guanacaste, Costa Rica almost a year after finishing her Peace Corps commitment there. While in Costa Rica in the Peace Corps she met and fell in love with Anibal Rodriguez-Alvarado. They married and have settled in Washington DC. On their first return trip, they included time for the Dog Meets World project and took and printed on-the-spot 50 photos of the local children (one shown here).
I’ve got a GREAT list of travel tips for you!
