“Merci, merci” was the refrain heard when volunteers with Dog Meets World took and printed up pictures for the entire school in Ibo Beach, supported by Haiti Outreach Ministries, along the coast about an hour from Port-au-Prince in Haiti. Most of the students had never had a photo of themselves and for sure not in their school uniforms. We in the USA take for granted our access to documenting our (school) lives in photos.
I LOVE Steampotville. It makes me laugh, makes me search for funny things, makes me look for details, and inspires me to create my own Steampotville (which will be called mermaids-under-the-sea).
Samburu Sun - Kenya
My safari to Samburu National Forest was about seeing the animals of course, however I wasn't expecting the spectacular landscape and environment to be the main show. The skies glowed yellow and orange each evening as we raced around looking for lions. The vast open spaces peppered with Umbrella Thorn trees provides the perfect picture of Eastern Africa.
